I've asked God to make the scales fall from my eyes so I can see.

I've asked God to unplug my ears so I can hear Him.

I've begged God to give me Saving Faith.

None of prayers ever get answered...NONE!

I am eating my supper, and now this scripture comes to mind and I don't know what it is.

This kind of stuff doesn't happen to me but I feel I am suppose to do this.

I questioned it--what is going on--I'm sure this is nothing, just my brain rambling on. And the scripture comes to mind again, and I hear--"especially verse 19"

17 pray continually,

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not quench the Spirit.

He hears you! Sometimes His answers don't look like our expectations. Keep at it!

It is so strange, or maybe I shouldn't say that. After listening to the video you posted, I was overwhelmed and cried out to the Lord. Did you ever have those really one on one type of prayers?

Well, I prayed for things I usually don't pray about and for everyone on GLP. Now, I'm in the middle of making supper and all I can hear is Stop, Stop right now and Pray.

He said whoever sees this must stop and pray for whatever is on their heart. I think that's what the "listen" is for.

But ask His Holy Spirit to give you utterance and always pray in Jesus' name.

Well, I've been doing that for the last several years. It seems as though I'm only talking to myself.

I'll try it again tonight...if nothing happens...I'm just going to give up.

I honestly and truly want to get to know and love Him with my heart, soul, strength and mind so that I can bring Him great glory and good pleasure.

I've begged Him to show me what His purpose for me is. I know He created me for a reason...I just don't know what it is...never did!

I've diligently sought Him for years and I CANNOT find Him. I've read the enitire Bible numerous times and I pray EVERY morning, noon, and night.

I'm almost beginning to feel that He isn't real.
