Better! Fifteen kids now instead of 25. I'm still buried in work, however. It will take me another week to catch up!!! How are you?

Excellent--15 kids--WooHoo!

I was extremely busy the whole week--helping a friend plus cleaning out my basement--huge task!!

Our Lord Jesus helped me--I talked to Him and thanked Him many times as I relied on His strength to get the task done.

My friend here had an ailing dad who went to be with our Lord this morning. Praise Jesus as he wasn't a Christian until just recently.

Today is my day of rest and when fully recuperated I have more cleaning to do.

Work--it's never done.....

Yes, fifteen is far more easy to manage than the twenty-five. I truly do thank God for the 'split' and thank you all for your prayers.

Sorry to hear about your friend's loss. However, it is great for her dad to fully into God's kingdom. I too look forward to walking through that gate some day. I think about it sometimes!!! Do you?

I hope i am always able to work. Being old and bed ridden - dependent on others - must be a lot harder than actually working!

Everyone loves praise! When someone praises me at work for my job performance, man I feel good.
If I give my biological father praise he gets a heck of a kick out of it.
So I will praise God through his Son, Jesus Christ and let Him know that I am glad for the blessings bestowed upon me. And it is a very enjoyable thing to do. If you commit your life to God, live your life accordingly, you can not help but give him praise for how your life has changed. It may not be easy to begin with and you will backslide. So God has given you the gift of repentance and He will embrace you.
Believe me, if you are stay the course, you will reap the rewards and you can not help but to praise God !

You know, when you asked about walking through the gates one day, that caused me to reflect too, on why I would be anxious for the rapture. Is it to escape all the pain and suffering here, or is it because I want to be with my Savior King?

God our Father delights when His creation praises Him!

His Spirit within us delights when we choose to pray and praise the Almighty God and His Son--I get goose-bumply feelings allover when He confirms that within me.

God loves when we appreciate all that He does.

Two weeks ago, a van from my electrical company was parked outside my home.

Apparently they were here to install the new meter. They couldn't get my old one out. They also told me I had wires that needed replacement.

So, the electrician came. I hurried to clean my basement--it was a dusty mess.

A whole shelf of heavy boxes fell over onto my head and knocked me to the floor. I prayed right away and kept saying "thank you, Jesus, thank you, Jesus". I was alone and just kept thinking that our Lord was protecting me and my head was going to be fine. Well, before you know it, I had forgotten it happened.

My vacuum cleaner went on the blink--of all times--so I prayed over it. It turned on and continued working right up until the end of the task.

What a task it was, too--I was exhausted.

Still need to get a new vacuum cleaner.

I hop into my car the other day and as I'm pulling out of the driveway, I hear this odd noise.

Something is wrong with my car. The noise is loud and attracts attention when I'm driving. I prayed about it.

Turns out it might be struts. A clerk at Murrays Auto Center gave me a name of a gentleman who will fix it for me at a decent price.

So the car will get fixed. I thank Jesus for it.

I do a load of laundry a couple of days ago--down in the basement.

I hear this funny 'gurgling' noise--I look down the basement stairs--my floor drain was overflowing.

I prayed to Jesus and said "not today, Lord, I got too much laundry to do". Well, I plunged the hole a few times and the drain unclogged. Easy fix.

Got my laundry done and I thanked Jesus for it.

Turn my tv on two nights ago, the screen is all black except for this thin bright line in the center. The sound works, but not the picture. Prayed over it. I gave it a few "fonzie" hits, got the picture back. But when I turn it off and turn it on again, it's the same thing all over--thin line in the center and no picture. The 'fonzie' hits work each time but I still need to get a new tv. Still thanked Jesus that I'm able to watch tv for now, until I can afford a new one.

Went to bake a cornbread the other day. The oven didn't turn on right away. I prayed about it. The second attempt it did. Had some delicious cornbread with my taco rice.

Tonight, I'm making a meatloaf. The same thing happens with the oven. I prayed about it again. Didn't work. Prayed again--yes, it worked! I thanked Jesus and also made a delicious pumpkin bread.

My best friend here in Michigan was taking care of her ailing father in her home. I was helping her.

We actually witnessed him dead at one time, a couple of weeks ago--his pulse stopped, he was blue and his legs stiffened out. The nurse prayed over him, kept saying "the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus". He came back to life about 7 minutes after passing.

After that day, he had a couple of good days, then he would start again with having these episodes of 'death'--not breathing and turning blue--each one only lasting no longer than a minute. We knew his time was short. He wanted to make it to his 84th birthday. Each episode of "death" he had, we would pray over him.

He went to be with our Lord the morning after his birthday.

I praise our Lord Jesus for His goodness and mercy.

I thank our Lord Jesus for all He is and all He does in helping me.

I complain sometimes, I don't worry as much as I use to, because He has been teaching me to fully trust in Him.

He has never left me, He is always by my side. He is trustworthy and true. He is my rock and my fortress, my shelter, my bread. When I'm thirsty, He provides me with Living Water. When I'm tired, He gives me rest. When I'm anxious, He counsels me with His words from scipture.

Thank You Lord Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul.

You have done so much, and I feel I do so little.

My love isn't fit to be the gum on the bottom of the shoe of God's love.

I had to mention this to you:

I rarely remember my dreams.

This morning I did--I woke up feeling startled because of the dream.

Every morning, upon arising, my routine is about the same.
I turn my computer on and one of the first things I check out is the earthquake map.

In my dream, I went to look at the earthquake map and there was a huge--I mean huge!-red circle on the U.S. section of the map. And guess where? The New Madrid fault line.

Now I don't think too much of the dream itself. Because I look at that map each morning, it would only make sense that I would have a dream of it. The only reason why I mention it, is I remembered this dream and, as I said, that rarely happens.

Oh well, let's hope & pray it doesn't become a reality.

hmmmm..... well, unfortunately, that one might be fulfilled. I believe, as you know, that we will lose much of our interior. I also expect at least one of the great lakes to not exist anymore.... at least not as it presently is.

I'm reminded of a dream I had many years ago. It came true. The very next day I watched it play out before me just like it happened in the dream.

Who knows when this will happen?
God knows and He wants us to know that He is in charge.

He can do whatever He pleases. He does not need our permission to do anything, nor does He need our advice.

He is Almighty God--the Creator of heaven and earth!

Yes, He made us for His pleasure and He loves us, but He is not dependent on us.
He said the rocks would cry out if His people did not speak.

But He delights to have His will proclaimed--His glory revealed and the good news of salvation and redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ known to all.

Glory be to Almighty God forevermore!
