It was only TS force until night.

Then the hurricane force winds made me slightly worried and uncomfortable, so I docked at the dockmaster's invitation.

I gotta buy him something to thank him for letting me dock for free.

I always see Dutch visitors buy a sailboat and hang out for the summer in the intra-coastal waterway. Is that you too? Sounds like fun except for the big storms.

That's why I anchored with houses to the north of the bow. I was 100 feet from houses to block the wind.

If I was moored in another place without those houses so close to the windward shore, there would have been some wave action and wind.

I don't mind wind and waves while sailing, but I find both extremely irritating when I am anchored and trying to relax.
