If I engaged in illegal drug use I would probably not want to get the sheriff's attention with a slander lawsuit.

Granted it might be slander and that might be illegal, but you are doing something illegal yourself.

Slightly hypocritical on your part to bring the sheriff's department up on charges when you are doing something just as bad and illegal.
