You could call the police file a report and see if they will keep a patrol car near your neighborhood more often. Either way before or after the fact of a home invasion you will be questioned as to why you think someone entered your home with intent to rob you. They will probably assume you sell drugs from the get go. Get a gun and defend yourself.

we kicked this guy out of our house because hes sketchy and came here and did drugs, smoking pills, hangs out with the wrong crowd, and now he wants "revenge" because we were his :only friends: but by that i know he was stealing from us which is one reason which led to us banning him from the lot.

again any ideas would be helpful, we can even go into voice chat if needed..

Yeah, rest assured were not dealing anything of the sort, though we are all college kids for the most part with day jobs/night jobs. were not rich but we all have pretty good savings, have occasional parties you know? just the life most people lived in their younger years.

in fact the people who are said to rob us are drug dealers so.. cheers for irony?

as for the gun, im not sure if i really want to do that.

i mean, if i do, then theres going to be a shoot out..

well, speaking for myself theres nothing to hide, but with the state of the world not many people (especially younger people) want police in their homes.

If this guy is a druggie you don't know what kinda shit he'll be on when he shows up. I wouldn't want to trust him to let me live after robbing me. You can get a good shotgun for about 200-300 dollars. If you see him coming you could fire a shot and maybe scare him off but if not at least you can protect yourself if he gets in your house.

you're assuming they plan on leaving witnesses to testify against them. even if your "friend" wasn't planning to no doubt one of the others already decided to do yall in. its standard protocol basically. set up cameras (not openly visible) in and outside your house send anyone who aint going to throw down away n ambush em. Well best course is to strike first away from the homestead and quietly. in amerika theres no such thing as self defense anymore

I agree, call the cops call the cops call the cops, then booby trap the entrance ways. Set up group strategy and exit plans in case he really does come knocking and it's not the typical pissed off guy spouting bs. Think about all the places he might be standing with his rifle if he does show up, where he might be able to aim it, and where the subsequent rounds might end up when he is firing(think what angle the bullets might come flying through the doors windows walls etc). Remember if he really does have an ak-47 the rounds have enough power behind them to penetrate walls, windows, doors etc, and keep moving a long ways after doing so. But to put your mind at ease it really doesn't sound like he is all that serious to me, if he really wanted to kill you he probably would have done it already and not said anything to anyone beforehand, just done it. Sounds to me like he is just trying to intimidate you. But irregardless good luck, be safe and aware of your surrounding, and start a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as soon as you can!!! Well I've almost been in the same situation op. Hanging out at a party house. 3 guys came in wearing masks and bats and a gas can. 2 rednecks and a big black dude while we were all too intoxicated to do anything. They searched us all took anything worth value money\jewelry and our i.d's and then made us all get in one room with the big black dude. I don't know what they were planning but they wanted alone time with each of us but the first guy they took out of the room ran away. If he didn't run away they were probably planning to set the house on fire with us in it. Months later we eventually found out one of the guys living at the house owed the guy money and set the whole thing up.

the problem is its out of his "friends" hand know. he went to a hustler told him what there is to steal where it is ect. its a done deal and his "friend" is no longer in control of the situation

Ah you don't know drug addicts do you? They get together with other druggies and assume since they have a drug habit bond they talk about what they've done and what they would do. The guy was probably trying to find someone to do it with him but the guy probably likes the op since he has a party house where more than likely girls get drunk and the guy can find an easy lay.

Do not booby trap your house, it is illegal. When I was a lot younger I had my house broken into a couple of times and I asked the police if I could booby trap the windows/doors. They let me know real quick that if I did that then I would be going to jail.

As far as what to do, I'd recommend hanging out a few houses down with a video camera and get it all on tape. Make sure to get license plate numbers. You can take all of your valuables to a friends house before it all goes down. If you plan on standing your ground and using a shotgun like someone mentioned earlier, good luck. A shotgun is an awesome home defense weapon, but you usually aren't defending against an AK-47. You will have 6-7 rounds with your shotgun against 30-75 rounds of AK depending on what kind of magazine/drum this dude has. Not very good odds especially since you know he won't be coming alone. Don't be an idiot.

Hypothetically:

If you have enough acidic cleaning products, and some kind of water delivery system -> I would spray them from the roof and blind them. But you would have to be sure of their intentions etc.

If it blows over go get 2 german shepherds. The robbers will refrain from robbing you, because they know that the dogs will force them to fire their guns. Robbers know that if they fire even once, that makes everything more complicated, so they hope only to threathen.

I say for now put up a webcam, and leave the property. Talk to the cops, and if they do nothing, just don't go home. When the robbers enter you'll see it on cam with a cell, then notify the cops.

Are you in the us? If you are then I am afraid you were lied to sir. I would like to refer you to the "castle doctrine" that we have here in the us. Not all of the states have it, but the ones that don't have similar laws in effect. Your home is your castle and you are allowed to defend it. But, do do yourself a favor and check up on your local laws.

Castle doctrine does not apply to booby traps, aka automatic defense systems, because they cannot differentiate between threats and non-threats (aka EMS (firemen) personnel).

Tell the police. Then tell him that the police have been notified. Go buy a .22 to play with, you don't need to blast a hole in someone, just make him hurt a little if he is dumb enough to come around.

At the very least you need some detectors - so you can see him coming.

And of course change the locks and/or install a dead-bolt system and put burglar alarms on the window and doors.

If I had any faith in the police I'd suggest calling them. But with today's police I'd have to give that a miss.

* One thing I did when I had a guy threatening me years back was to find a weak point then I dobbed him in to the police.

- He took to following me in his car and contacted some of my clients trying to make me lose business through lies.

I found out he had never taken the Japanese driving test and by law he would have had to because he had been here for a decade.

I got someone to anonymously contact the police to act the part of a distressed mother who was afraid this man would cause an accident because his driving (a school bus of sorts at one time) was appalling and (the woman had found out) he had no valid driving licence.

... He never tailed me again and rode a bicycle for the next year.
