If there was a law that a person shouldn't be thought religion until he/she turns 18, i doubt there would be many religious people if any at all. I know i was born into it, now i take the good lessons which are few and far apart and discard the "prejudice-fear-mongering-bullshit and ignorance"

What seems so obvious to intelligent and intellectually honest people is "far-fetched" to the religiously brainwashed.

I think that between religious indoctrination and military indoctrination, we have a big problem with good people never getting a chance to shine in life or form their own thoughts. SAD. Very sad.

Of course there is no hell. It was all fabricated to control the population. There is so much more for us to learn in the coming days (months, years). Many people will be very shocked and angry when they learn of their manipulation. So sad really. I've known people who couldn't miss a Catholic Mass - ever. Tell your sins to another mortal? WHY? None of it made sense. Especially that part about not eating meat on Fridays during Lent. All of the rituals. I wonder what God we were all praying to - The God we intended or the God of the Black Pope? Who were all the rituals for? Think about it.

And don't forget what the Catholic church says about birth control! Who cares if these 3rd world poverty stricken families can't afford to feed their 4th, 5th or 10th child! Most will eventually grow up and be good little Catholics and tithe 15% of their hard earned pittance because they won't get into 'heaven.' It selfishly prays (yes, pun intended) on these people and are happy to take money that people should use to provide food, shelter, and basic medical care, or better yet-prevent pregnancies they can't financially care for!

The bible was written 2000years ago, even then those werent the direct words of jesus, but THE GOSPEL. In all the time passed , the rewrites and new editions, so much has been forgoten or changed. How do you know who to believe and what. Which religion or sect of a religion has it right and why do all religious people think their religion is right.
