Absolutely, as Sissel said ….. never seen the stain looking like that. Unfortunately the zoomed Moviestar view doesn’t show much more than what looks like venting gas. Is that what it is, Carl? There are also some dark areas at the centre of the zoomed image – any ideas?

Now I saw it… I also saw one pyroclast. But quite a few of your steam puffs. I looked like small geysers of pure steam, or steam and gas the sprouted like jets straight up for about a second, then disappeared. Looked nothing like pyroclasts.
I would guess the height to have been anything from 5 to 10 meters.
The smoke from the pyroclasts follows the wind and is flat on the ocean, but these where straight up, so there was definitly pressure in whatever drove/drives them.

Either it is a flock a heat seaking whales, or Bob is fairly close to the surface by now, or we have a rather new fenomenon starting.

Wow, thanks for that link. The poster below the pics says he think it's nothing....That is an odd response to these pics, but one we hear all the time.

Looks like yesterday saw a lot of activity on the seismograph. No doubt, more info that didn't make it onto the sheets.

I noticed too...several other graphs, including Gomera and La Palma are slowly but surely showing increased harmonic vibrations. We may be seeing evidence of slow but sure increase in magma flow coming from those islands, to Hierro.

It sure does. Even though it's looking quiet, the stain makes the view quite omnimous from both cams.

Also the wind looks calm on the cams.

What does it mean tremor and seismicity were given at the same time?
This means that energy is flowing out (tremor) while inside there is more energy (seismicity), prepared to continue flowing out.
