Activity DEFINITELY spiking again. Finished with 18 yesterday (UTC) and already looks like 6 today. [link to www.ign.es]

It looks like almost all the recent quakes are happening right on the massive cliffs of frontera bay. And..many are quite shallow..down to 6 miles deep compared to the average 12 miles deep before. This is not good if this new swarm continues. [link to www.ign.es] Watch this swarm.

- 3 earthquakes so far today. All of them occurred with a short delay and were quiet strong for the 10 km range

Update 03/09 – 23:55 UTC
- 4 more to end the day, which brings the total for Monday on 11

Nine small earthquakes since midnight although the strongest one a 1.8 was only at 2km deep.

- 9 earthquakes so far today ! All of them in the range 9 to 10 km deep.

- 7 earthquakes have been added by IGN after this last update, bringing the total today on 18, still a lot more than in the pre-swarm period were we had a lot of days without quakes all together. We did remove swarm from the title at 21:01, but we better had waited a couple of hours more.

There was some action at 8:40 UTC, but haven't seen it listed yet. Showing on the El Hierro seismograph though.

I don't know what happened, but Idgits is now showing as AC...876 and AC...187 (Germany) He isn't in Germany though. For some reason whenever he posts from his cellphone, GLP picks it up as being from Germany. I'm really not sure if any of the other AC's - Germany - are Idgits or not. I can't remember if any of them showed as 'Idgits' up until a few days ago. Hopefully we will see 'Idgits' back soon.

- 6 earthquakes so far today + a couple very shallow ones ! The shallow ones are hopefully due to deformation stress (although deformation is not really changing fundamentally).

- 5 earthquakes have been listed by IGN so far today. One earthquake was at a depth of only 6 km, not yet at a potential eruption level, but this is already the 3th shallower earthquake in 2 days.
- Deformations are still up and down with approx. the same values. Yesterday 2 cm deflating, today 2 cm inflating as one can see at the Prof. Sagiya graph below.....
