that the kingdom of god is within;
"Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there".

The movie Stigmata is sort of based on this gospel.
A lot of Hollywood sensation, but might be a good watch if you are really in to it. Not a bad movie.

The Great One ordered Gabriel to grant spirits to the Great Generation with no ruler over it, that is the spirit and the soul- self generation.

What's your favorite part? Mine...

Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. And after they have reigned they will rest."
Quoting: Queen Bea of Useless Knowledge

Darn, page four already (i wish i got to post these on page1)!

Here a few favorites from that book:

"When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will know that you are the sons of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty."

- Gospel of Thomas

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."

- Gospel of Thomas

"..Be on your guard so that no one deceives you by saying, 'Look over here!' or 'Look over there!' For the child of true Humanity exists within you. Follow it! Those who search for it will find it."

- Gospel of Mary of Magdala

"What you are looking for is what is looking."

- St. Francis of Assisi

Here's a great sermon from a Unitarian Universalist pastor that fills me with joy as well... Jesus as a Trickster :)

Umm....isn't this statement an oxymoron?
“If Noah’s flood really did occur, what would you expect to find? Billions of dead things, buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the earth.” And guess what we find? Billions of dead things, buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the earth.

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

And the sea(Mankind) gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The apocalypse of john is the one that sent alarm flags up, but it was like it was an after taste thing.

Upon first reading it seemed to say one thing but it wasn't till pondering its meaning later did it seem to say something totally different, know what I mean?

The apocalyps of peter I think was the original writing that influenced dante's inferno, jmo

Just started reading some of the books. The Origins of the World, sheds a whole new perspective on the Book of Revelations. I can see why the RCC didn't want to canonize it. Many things Jesus alluded to can now be answered. Maybe not to everyone's liking but you understand more the Pleroma of God.

Re: Thoughtful Discussion of the Gospel of Thomas
I would like to hear just one Christian theologian attempt to explain what Jesus said to Thomas in Saying #13 of the Gospel of Thomas.

That they are utterly incapable of answering such a question demonstrates that they do not have one CLUE as to what the Teaching of Jesus was about.
