What about other utility lines (water, sewage, gas lines, etc.) that run under your property? Think you own them since they may be under your property? Nope, you don't. And again, try destroying them and see what happens. See what happens when you decide to destroy that neighborhood gas line that runs across your property and see how pissed off your neighbors get when your neighborhood goes BOOM at worst, or the entire neighborhood looses gas and you get to explain to the utility workers that have to come and dig up your property to get to the line to keep it from going BOOM.
