Women's lib just made women bitter impotent men. When we have true equality, own ourselves... we heal both sexes. Not implying sluttiness, mind you, but a sacred awareness of ourselves. The internet allows us serious seeking females to choose meaningful interaction rather than flirtation. Honestly? My life partner is an adorable alpha male who doesn't order me around, respects my intelligence and input and doesn't attempt to dominate of subjugate. And I give him that same respect as a man and as a person. We're equal, but have our talents and skills. As all men and women should realize. We are only separate by genetalia and as well as our various energies. The goal to each man and woman is to be balanced as both man and woman. Men tend to lead in this age because they are more aggressive and to be quite frank, this age was not about heaven on earth, but creating it and the muscle of men is what was needed. Now I'll preface this by saying I'm no dog, one of the last vestiges of vanity there, forgive me, lol. But about 3 years ago, makeup, heels, pretty things because gradually meaningless. I stopped cutting my hair, dressing in things that made me uncomfortable. I moved back to my natural state. I work at home, so it made the shift easier. And my guy was quite cool with it(see the no dog disclaimer above). Plus, I have a sense of whimsy, wonder at the world that's returned. This mischievous look in all my pics until school, then I had to hide my light under a bushel. And we balance each other. He's strong, funny... like a big friendly Rottweiler til you cross him, and it takes a lot. Defender... And he's smart, but not SMART and he adores my, well... that's a piece I'm not ready to throw down yet. Let's just say I make people nervous when unleashed and I've learned to hold back. But it's coming off in layers, it has to. For all of us. We have our gifts and soon we'll throw it all down and unmask :) |
