Boehner turned him down for the 7th. Then they were saying the 8th, but that's the first regular season NFL game. Guess he'll have to cancel one of his fundraisers. Is anybody actually planning to watch?

Kinda odd. When I posted the link, there was no info of Boehner responding. It was strictly, "I'm POTUS and you will be there!"

Correction: Obama TRIED to cancel the next GOP debate but Boehner reclaimed Wednesday for the GOP, suggesting that Thursday was a better day for the commander in chief to come to the House chambers to give what the White House hopes will be the marching orders in the battle to revive a weak economy.
