May Gadafi fight and win. May he not burn down his empire rather destroy his enemies instead. May the Libyan people help their leader and commander and destroy all opposition to peace and stability.

If Libyan people helped to stop rebels at first place, there shouldn't be such a situation now, they sit and watch their country captured by the oil companies, when they start to cry it will be too late.

I wonder what Gaddafi's plans are for revenge...
this is going to be a interesting sept
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1165831

I would think that this would entail a counter-insurgency.

Gaddaffi did a much better job raising the standard of living for his people -- general populous -- than all our Presidents combined over the past 50 years.

Gaddafi was faced with an armed rebellion back in February 2011, and although his government did stupidly and predictably shoot some unarmed protesters, the rest of the rebels were/are alciada trying to gain the upper hand on Russians and the Chinese, who were getting the better oil deals from Gaddaffi. Now even the armed rebels claim that 50,000 have died in Libya since the French/USA airstrikes began the war in March 2011.

I have to believe, if Gaddaffi is serious, that he, like Saddam, told his people to blend back into the background, hide your guns, plant improvised explosive devices, aim at rebels, as Saddam once said, "shoot for the neck" -- I myself abhor violence, but if Gaddaffi is planning the long war, this is probably his plan.

Like it or not, it worked in Iraq. Bush was forced to sign a status of forces agreement in 2007 (retreat contract) due to Sunni and Shiite insurgency tactics. Now, faced with a likely full retreat in December 2012 from Iraq, with another thug, Maliki (torturer) in office, the USA is knocking at Libya's door. However, the silver lining for Cheney, Bush and the oil boys is that oil prices went through the roof for a prolonged period of time, and they made record profits for several years. See #1 below.

Here is something to keep in mind.

1. Even if this blows up to a full blown counter-insurgency war like Iraq did, it will keep the price of fuel high -- thus, justify the cost of transferring to an oil sands extraction supply from Canada, the USA and Venezuala. When the price is too low, (peacetime) the oil boys can't make enough profit from oil sand extraction.
The amount of shale and oil sand fuel just in our hemisphere exceeds the amount of oil otherwise left in the ground, and would take us well past 2050.

2. A long war would also lower the standard of living in Libya, cause mass exodus, and lower the oil revenues shared with a less populated Libya.

This is how our leaders and their masters think.

Gaddaffi appears opposed to letting his country slide into Banana republic status.
 Quoting: humuhumunukuapuaa

In other words, dead or alive in the future, Gaddaffi's prediction of a long war is a 50/50 proposition.
Through honesty, we make peace.

I agree with you that it doesn't make sense. I think some of them have left Libya and are now posting on western message boards, spreading their propaganda.

If Gaddafi was a good leader, he would tell his supporters to lay down their arms and negotiate. That way, they might have a say in who forms the new Libyan government and parliament. Instead, he is staying with the notion that killing everything in sight is the real solution to all his problems.

What a lunatic! It's a shame, because if he'd stop killing and start behaving like a civilized person, he might turn out to have some interesting ideas.

It is sad, but genocides, like Turkey did against Armenia, was almost complete before the Armenians could comprehend the horror that was was being put upon them.

Likewise, it is hard to conceive that such a well (sick) laid plan by the Western Intelligence agencies, could move so quickly, paralyze public opinion, and prevent people from getting out of their comfortable lifestyles to fight an invading force that controls the skies, highly trained CIA ground operatives, and global media.

Has everyone here forgotten how this whole mess got started? It started with a peaceful demonstration by opponents of Gaddafi. Then Gaddafi supporters started shooting at the peaceful demonstrators. From that point on, things started to get out of control and outside forces started coming in.

If the tyrant's followers hadn't started killing the peaceful demonstrators, he would still be in power now with a discontented populace. If he had talked to these people instead of shooting them, maybe something could have been worked out peacefully.

And there is people say demonstrators firing on soldiers, same happenes on Syria, I do not think this is done by demonstrators, it is done by agents, just get in to the crowd and fire inside the human shield then make the military turn to its own people, same shit happened in Egypt, Libya and Syria, and it is all started at 2011, just a coincidence these peoples waited for decades to demonstrate "peacefully" on this particular year.

Libya: War Against Africa
[link to saleil.blogspot.com]

We can't allow another Iraq.

In the 1950's, Libya was the poorest country in the world. Before the NATO invasion, Libya had become the country with the best quality of life in all Africa thanks to Gaddafi. The people of Libya support Gaddafi, they love his leader, but the media machine of NATO makes us believe this is a revolution similar to Egypt. "We are fighting the bad guy" That is all you hear in mainstream news, but is far from being the truth. A few months before this invasion, Gaddafi announced he was implementing a new currency, alongside most African countries. This would mean Africa would stop selling resources in Dollars and Euros, and would also mean a new powerful currency would get into the market, allowing progress for 3rd world countries in Africa. This of course, is not convenient for the powerful millionaires of the west. AND MOST IMPORTANT. Libya is the country in all Africa with the highest OIL reserves, and the cost of producing a barrel of oil is 100 times more cheap than in the rest of the world. Gaddafi did not permit oil companies to mess with Libyan oil. The Libyan oil was for the Libyan people. He also did not allowed world banks into his country. All loans were issued by the Libyan government at 0% interest. The rebels have already made a deal with oil companies to let them loot Libyan resources, and also made deals to allow a central bank run by Rothschild Family to be implemented in the country. Rothschild Family is a group of bankers that own all western banks, and are estimated to own over half the worlds wealth.

Don't believe me? All the information is on the videos and articles on this description. And that's just a fragment, do your research, don't let the government fool you with mainstream media. Whatever you hear on mainstream media about this war is complete lies.

Spread the word, the Libyan people need you. We may have our differences but remember, we are all citizens of the same world.

We are legion

We do not forgive

We do not forget

We are anonymous

We are legion

We do not forgive

We do not forget

Expect us

Re: • Gadhafi: Let this be a long fight, and let Libya be on fire
May Gadafi fight and win. May he not burn down his empire rather destroy his enemies instead. May the Libyan people help their leader and commander and destroy all opposition to peace and stability.

If Libyan people helped to stop rebels at first place, there shouldn't be such a situation now, they sit and watch their country captured by the oil companies, when they start to cry it will be too late.
 Quoting: Gabriel Angelos
Has everyone here forgotten how this whole mess got started? It started with a peaceful demonstration by opponents of Gaddafi. Then Gaddafi supporters started shooting at the peaceful demonstrators. From that point on, things started to get out of control and outside forces started coming in.

If the tyrant's followers hadn't started killing the peaceful demonstrators, he would still be in power now with a discontented populace. If he had talked to these people instead of shooting them, maybe something could have been worked out peacefully.

And there is people say demonstrators firing on soldiers, same happens on Syria, I do not think this is done by demonstrators, it is done by agents, just get in to the crowd and fire inside the human shield then make the military turn to its own people, same shit happened in Egypt, Libya and Syria, and it is all started at 2011, just a coincidence these peoples waited for decades to demonstrate "peacefully" on this particular year.
 Quoting: Gabriel Angelos

Actually the protesters started the violence by lighting a police station on fire, throwing rocks and firing at soldiers and police, and calling for a complete revolt against the government.

If that was done here, martial law would be declared, anyone attacking police and soldiers would be either shot on sight or jailed, and the arrested tried as traitors.

Only 300-500, according to rebels and the then Libyan government, were injured or killed before French/US air-strikes. However, after US air strikes, 50,000 have died --this is far more than Obama sought to "protect" with a no fly zone. Of course he was lying. He really wanted regime change -- as did/do his masters.

Re: • Gadhafi: Let this be a long fight, and let Libya be on fire

"Let there be a long fight and let Libya be engulfed in flames," Gaddafi was quoted as saying in a message.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1165831

What a douchebag.

He was in power for 40 years. Did he think to step down? Nooo... he was willing to start a civil war to stay in power.

Now that his butt was kicked he wants the struggle to be long and Libya to burn.

Oh what a hero, how much he loves Libya... LMAO.
 Quoting: Vlad Tepes
I agree. And even if he hadn't been a bloody tyrant, wouldn't the people be sick of him by now after all this time?

Those people need change. I hope their new parliament manages to give them a good change.

How do you know that they were peaceful. Overrunning a military base in Benghazi sounds like a little less than peaceful. That actually how this got started. Sounds like its a MI5 CIA Mossad operation.

Lets be clear, it this was organic, then it wouldnt had even made a peep in the news.

OIL GOLD WATER and creating a vicious Islamic Sharia state. That's what its all about.

Wealth and the best enemy money can buy. What a great victory for TPTB.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 759313

Yep! Benghazi was a CIA/Al Qaeda operation plain and simple. Recently leaked Libyan intelligence documents confirm it! Qaddafi was fighting against our "declared" but secretly allied enemy, Al Qaeda.

One correction: Al-cia-da. USA created, manages and recruits for them.
