Well, this is interesting information. And as a matter of fact, I haven't had a haircut since 1988. I'm male, but I've always kept my hair long. And I do have a strong sense when danger is near, which has saved me several times. I'm also very 'in tune' with animals and plants, though there is only a smidgin of Native American in me (1/256th). I always wondered why that was, and have always cherished it as an inexplicable gift. Now I have to wonder if it really is as simple as my 'feelers' or 'antennae' not being cut off all the time.

I hate the social norm of males having short hair. Utter bullshit from squares.

I have yet to cut my three year old son's hair and it's down past the middle of his back.. It's beautiful. I receive a lot of shit for it from friends and family. I just keep saying I'm going to cut it someday, there is no need to right now.

Hair is biologically inert ... and that's because hair is DEAD matter.

actually though you must not trim the ends of the hair. dont go to the hair stylist at all, dont cut your hair whatsoever. split ends dont matter, in time the hairs end will correct itself and develop the sensory end that you are talking about. it takes about 3 years of not cutting your hair before the ends return to their normal state. just like a horses hair, your hair will naturally grow to a certain length (about mid to lower back for men, longer for women; there are exceptions to this rule some peoples hair never stops growing but that isnt usual). the reason your hair will reach a equilibrium state is because the length of the hair will be proportional to the amount of usual hair loss. resulting in the natural hair length for your body, and little to no split ends.

For about 25 years I had long or very long hair.
I cut it off during one especially hot summer.
Huge relief.

But my husband had a fit.
Turns out he liked me for my looks more than what was inside my head.
We ended up divorcing.

Women with long hair feel special. I didn't feel special anymore .. but I had freedom.

I am really big on freedom.
Like, gimme liberty or give me death kind of freedom.
I married again, this time a real good one. Whats amazing is that he is retired Marine Corps with a shaved head.

I may have been more in-tune when I had long hair .. sure had my share of attention.. but I don't hunt or play war games so I am okay without it.

This has been known for a long time and is the reason society is so down on long hair for it gives the person an advantage in many way over others.

Female here. I did not cut my hair for ten years. It got so long that I could sit on it. I finally cut it to shoulder-length this past February, for a new job. I do not see any difference at all in my "sixth sense". If anything, my intuition is stronger than ever.
