quite interesting when running all 5 at the same time I can hear myself thinking, and conceptualizing. It is by far one of the most interesting effects I have had from binaural beats

I've been listening to binaural beats now for a long time. I listen just about every single night... i have a really good one that's lucid dream guide (i've gone from never remembering my dreams to having crazy dreams every night, but i'm can't get lucid, except it has happened a couple times, so that's progress for sure.

It's from Brainwave Mind Voyages. They have a whole series of guides for different things. SoundMind is excellent as well.

OP, why are you using the word fool and namaste in the same post? Namaste is a word of respect, whereas the word fool is of disrespect.

A: While only the most science-ignorant fool thinks that the entire brain pulses in time to one frequency, EEGs show that at any given time, your brain produces distinct waveforms in four frequency groupings, called beta waves (14 to 30 Hz, pronounced hertz, meaning cycles per second), alpha waves (8 to 13 Hz), theta waves (4 to 7 Hz), and delta waves (1 to 3 Hz). When we say that you are "in beta state" (which you normally are), what we're saying is that that's the dominant set of frequencies, the ones with the highest amplitudes. Beta is associated with alertness, with the highest frequencies in that range often described as "fight/flight" mode. Alpha frequencies have long been associated with meditation and relaxation. feeling of deep self awareness, physically tingly like pulses of raw energy flowing through my body, leading up to the sensation of standing next to a rally big static ball.

I could physically hear my subconscious though flow, some what jumbled but still definitely audible.

this is the state one should naturally be in. but because of addiction to sleep humans are not able to withstand it. as soon as they relax, they fall asleep practically immediately. Thus stress and anxiety [beta] is the engine for this society.
luckily for not so long...

all the beats i tried made me feel sleepy
can anyone recommend a good beat for study or for lucid dreaming ?

i use the wave that allows me to lift anything as if i were watching a machine doing it. moving with your eyes. so to say

great find op. +1 karma point to ya. got into this a few months back and sorta lost interest. been getting back into meditation recently thought. been doin it every day now. used a few of those to meditate for like an hour this morn. def helps. gonna save this thread for future use and might even try to get a few people at work into this. got these great head phones i bought for gaming on my xbox that work great for this also. just not sure how loud i should be playin it. these headphones gettin really loud.

if i want to stay the most awake and alert which one is best
