For the doubters, just google and call the local bait shop near Quail Lake, Ca. They were at the heart of this one, unless of course you are just a mouthpiece for the shills and don't want your ass handed to you. I feel it is a slap in the face by USGS to disrespect so many professionals who would like to move up the chain, but are held back by " approved media spokespersons " that it has become a bite your tongue " the earth is flat " scenario. Here's the before and after: [link to imageshack.us] [link to imageshack.us] Great catch Jane! We are 45 miles NE of LA in the Angeles Mountains. Every night we hear rumblings/vibrations (short endurance) 8 or 9 times a night. They might be going on during the day but busy then and maybe don't notice. Have heard a few in the day but mostly from 8:oo pm on. It comes from SE usually, once in awhile it is from the SW. I believe it is ground movement or magma. Has been happening for about 5 months now, maybe a little less. Strange, strange sound when you hear and feel it. Thanks for the post...I would have missed these. :) Last Edited by fairflight on 09/03/2011 10:23 PM "Man was also in the beginning with God. Quoting: Scarbedazzles Hi Scarbedazzles, I don't watch the Alaska activity much, but I'm very focused on California since that's where I am : ) There has been a significant uptick in quakes over 3.0 here which might not seem like a big deal but as you've noticed it is becoming much more active and they are more frequent. That's why I think USGS deleted the 2 quakes today. If the story of 3 quakes (with 2 in Southern California) hit the MSM, it would have been all over the 5 and 6 pm newscasts and caused people to panic. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1537715 United States 09/06/2011 02:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | many times you will see what appears to be 2 or 3 quakes at the same time give or take a few seconds and they will be similar in magnitude. this is because different machines are registering it - then once it is reviewed they take off the extra ones. it is all the SAME quake |

Hopefully a 10 or 11 earthquake will hit and destroy it all. Frisco and all the human turds there needs to be totally destroyed as well! Good riddance! |
