Who is Blazar, exactly?

Google it, Blazar is a powerful stream of particle jets emanating from a galaxies supermassive black hole center. One very close neighboring galaxies Blazar is headed directly for us by the end of the year. Anything that is in the path of a direct Blazar beam gets annihilated, including stars.
