I second that statement. Just pitch about 100 conventional ideas at him and DON'T INTERRUPT. Let him speak and finish the explanations in under 3 minutes for each question. I'll bet after the first 20 you'd begin to notice a pattern, ie., that there's no constitutional authority for nearly every one of them at the federal level.
Then, you'd beging to notice that most ideas fell upon the states to do, but wait, even the states might not have the authority. What to do?
Finally you'd be left with one conclusion, ie., that it's an individual who is responsible to take care of themselves...or a community.....or a charitable organization....or a church........or a family.
But certainly not federal or state authoritites by use of fiat money backed by more and more debt to enslave us all.
To me, that's what his message is.

Exactly - it's a two phase approach, give younger people like me the option to opt-out and then ween the older people off over time. By not being engaged in these global wars and massive spending there will be plenty of extra cash to get the older people off of SS and get the system phased out.

You can't just focus on one aspect of his plans, every piece needs to be considered.
