YES! I've always seen it as a two faced situation. Like in music, harmony relies on occasional discord. Now understand, I have an affinity with Eris, but it's not worship. In my heart, I feel there's but one creator who doesn't require worship or adulation, just acknowledgment for creating all this. So when I say Goddess, it doesn't mean I worship her... but I do understand her. It's all about order and disorder. There's creative order and disorder and destructive order and disorder, that's Chaos, the sum of all parts.

In order to come to concord, accord, one must first wade through the discord to find what's true, false and meaningless. Some things are all three at the same time, lol! If we all agreed all the time we'd never learn, we teach each other first through arguing about it, then finding common ground. That's what I feel Eris brings to the table... "you will be" in accord once you talk it out, find what's meaningful/meaningless in the true and the false.

Have you read the Principa Discordia? There's several updates, too. I'll dig up some links later... the Discordian philosophy is interesting in that it deals with negatives in order to dissolve them, just what you said, dealing with discord to come to an accord.
