*** CERN LHC - NANO-BLACKHOLES CREATION IMMINENT ***.
It is one of the main reasons why the LHC exists. To prove the existence of Dark Matter and Dark energy.
Well, pretty soon we will know if the fears that have spread around the net are unfounded or real.

Sep 4 2011

Ouch!

Dr. Neil Weiner, Physicist, New York University and Center for Cosmology & Physics

One of the most fascinating discoveries of our new century may be imminent if the Large Hadron Collider outside Geneva produces nano-blackholes. According to the best current physics, such nano blackholes could not be produced with the energy levels the LHC can generate, but could only come into being if a parallel universe were providing extra gravitational input.

Versions of multiverse theory suggest that there is at least one other universe very close to our own, perhaps only a millimeter away. This makes it possible that some of the effects, especially gravity, "leak through," which could be responsible for the production of dark energy and dark matter that make up 96% of the universe.

At a CalTech roundtable conference on the possible impact of the LHC on physics, Neal Weiner of New York University, who is a proponent of the existence of forces as well as particles on the dark side, said that until recently our theories about dark matter were driven by ideas about particle theory rather than data. “Ultimately we learn that perhaps it has very little to do with us at all,” Dr. Weiner said. “Who knows what we will find in the dark sector?”

My understanding of Black Holes, no matter...pardon the pun, how small, can and will grow.

By their very definition they "feed" and have an "irrestible" nature that dictates that once commenced they cannot be stopped.

Can anybody offer me proof that Im wrong please?

Wouldn't that be ironic if happens. We got so smart that we figured out how to start a black hole and it kills us all.

End Day a 2005 docu-drama produced by the BBC and aired on the National Geographic Channel

The whole thing is awesome, but the end is similar to what this thread is suggesting. Strangelet in the documentary, but the end result wouldnt be terribly different imo

Maybe thats what causes the coming catastrophes the black hole starts to pull in other bodies through its gravity and that includes all matter of objects.

Great thread - as usual!

I notice Dr Samanta-Laughton is saying much the same thing:

------------------
Dr. Samanta-Laughton offers a new model of the universe, where consciousness generates life, where black holes exist inside our bodies as well as far out in space, and where the same science explains galaxies and planets as well as human evolution, auras and chakras.

Drawing on the very latest in scientific understanding, the Black Hole principle represents the next leap forward in both human understanding and living, and gives a closer approximation to scientific reality than the macho-approach of the old-style physics.

Nano black holes are created ALL the time in nature. There is a greater chance of the entire universe exploding than this causing a problem. The only reason there is zero chance of this being a problem is that absolutely nothing is 100%.

It would be feasable to "assume" that the more the "hole" feeds, then the faster it can feed and the greater its gravitational pull will act on objects at distance.

My take on it would be that its growth would be of an exponential nature and THAT is the core fear that I have should one be created even for a nano second.

The black hole does not need a time reference point to exist, in fact because of that, by definition it is already at the "Event Horizon" where time no longer has meaning...

No one has ever seen a perfect circle, nor a perfectly straight line, yet everyone knows what a circle and a straight line are.
Perceived circles or lines are not exactly circular or straight, and true circles and lines could never be detected since by definition they are sets of infinitely small points.

"Can and will grow" Wrong, something like a micro black hole ( In the nano meter size) would not only require hundreds of years to become a meter, but it's near impossible for them to grow.

Actually they have done this already, black holes that is, but they have no mass and can only last a few microns of a second. Or else they would have sucked up the earth already.

Has anyone ever thought that why we "may" not have had contact with other alien intelligences is that they advance to the level we are at now and then despite their best scientists predictions artificially create a black hole that destroys them and all evidence of their existence???
