CRAZY STRANGE weather near San Pedro, Ca Tonight!
Just got back from quite an odd little sunset.

We had rushed out to an over look on the ocean to see sunset. The clouds held the promise of a particularly lovely one with oranges and pinky tones.

As we came upon the over look, a HUGE double rainbow hung over head. The wind was really whipping and it was chilly, 65 per the car's themo.

As we're out there, wrapped in blankets, big drops of rain started to fall but then, the wind became dry and VERY warm like about 80 within the course of 3 minutes!

The rainbow had faded but now many people were pulling over, squeezing onto the overlook, all gaping at the orange/yellow sky and saying the same thing: this is WEIRD!!!
Hubby checked the temp and it still read 65 but all agreed that the wind was very warm. All throughout, rain drops continued to fall here and there.

Anyone else in the LA/Harbor area notice any strange clouds/weather tonight??

Yes. I'm in West LA and noticed a crazy stormy looking sky, then huge rainbow and unusually beautiful sunset (balcony faces east though, so was viewing all this in that direction...but i imagine if it was so colorful inland then must have been pretty great coastal). Then about half hour ago noticed crazy lightning over in the east sky. Can't remember the las time I saw lightning in Cali!

I gotta tell you too, the people who were piling into the overlook, they were all acting like they had never before in all their lives seen such a sunset. One comment in particular tho: "This is Earth Quake weather!"

Both hubby and brother, normally quite unmoved by most anything, were both agreeing that the air felt charged and just plain weird.

At one point, had the clouds "rolled back as a scroll" I would not have been in the least bit surprised to see Jesus coming for his own it was just that...incredible!

HAARP created the earthquakes in Haiti and in Japan (among others). Doing so tilted the earth only slightly, but enough to throw things off. The tilt of the earth is off and so is our relative distance to the sun and moon. It seems miniscule, but it is enough to screw with our weather.

Its called clouds and rain. I know most so cal folks don't experience any real weather, and when you do it is shocking. What you describe happens every evening during the summer here in southern arizona-monsoon rains.

However, your quake is still to come...

LOL, I rather gathered that! I'm not from here so I do remember real weather! None the less, it had been a while.

The main point is that there was just this...something...this odd yet thrilling vibe in it all.

Long Beach (near Belmont Shore too) checking in...crazy sunset with pink, orange, and some purple sky--amazing. Weather did seem calm,. but with an eerie vibe like the calm before the storm and sure enough we finally has a light shower.

My mother0in-law live sin Redlands and she said they had 7 earthquakes this morning, she's mentioned quakes there on a weekly basis, fault line in that area is warming up. Also our fault line in Long Beach has had three tremors in the past 18 months, hoping its just letting off steam and not warming up for another 1933-style quake.

Had this happen to us at about 5pm this afternoon in my area (LA County border OC). Didn't see a rainbow did have a sudden downpour that lasted a couple minutes then completely cleared. It was really cold when the rain started, then it warmed up and got humid then the temp dropped dramatically.

The sky was lit up at sunset like something out of a sci-fi movie.

I'm sleeping with shoes next to my bed, it's EQ weather! LOL. Anytime it gets hot and then the temp drops significantly, we seem to swarm with EQ's.
