I too think it not robbery to be equal with God!

How could you be equal with God - have you lost your contact with reality?

Is that for thinking like Jesus?.......or for questioning Christian ideals???

Jesus said: "He thought it not robbery to be equal with God".........are WE not supposed to follow His example?

To be equal with God, one must THINK like God! imho

You will never be equal to God.. that is your first fault. Second fault you wouldn't make that statement you made about Jesus if you actually understand why He was sent here, even before we were created He knew he'd have to do what He did for us, and He did it because He loves us.

as for people needing some sort of "mediator"... it stems from their laziness... it's why they just love the doctrine of "justification by faith"... they would rather just say a magic prayer and then consider themselves "saved"...

read John Ch 14. It really is a beautiful passage, and if you're going to quote something Jesus said, you better read it context, instead of distorting it for your fleshly pleasure.

The greater things are merely greater healings, etc, but only if you believe in Him, Jesus said the same Spirit that dwells within Him dwells within those who believe.

John 14:6;
6Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.
7If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from now on you know him, and have seen him.

You twisted that verse to say you are equal to God, if you're going to quote a verse, read it in context, and at the very least understand what its trying to say.

Look, I am NOT trying to take any Glory away from Jesus.......on the contrary, I HONOR Him for the fine example that He set!

But I am telling you, that HE(Jesus) wants YOU to be just as equal with Him, as He is with God! That means "being equal with God!" :)

GREAT THREAD TOPIC OBE. I was maybe an hour ago checking out your profile and saw this in this list. I was up in the mountains yesterday, running a bit behind. It was lovely to be with NATURE's God, for a day and several other wondrous godly folks.

It's a shame on this planet, that people place the whole of creation on a single being called "God", and never consider that the creation is created constantly by everyone together. GOD is a word for creator and you are all creators and see it not.

I think by some of your comments, that you think that I am trying to be factitious........but the Truth is: We need to learn to be as God!(and I don't think we will get there, unless we begin to THINK as God does!)
