It has nothing to do with spending cuts, america could pay for any social program it want to 1000 times over with it's military budget alone. You could get even more from closing corporate tax loop holes.

The only TRUE fact about America is if you cut the social safety net, that puts a higher economic strain on the middle and lower class. These are the driving forces of an economy because they represent the largest purchasing group, guess what happens when they lose purchasing power. Once your middle class goes your entire economy enters a death spiral.

Stop trying to conflate it into an argument of democrats/republicans/tea baggers. When you do that you shill for the people who are oppressing you.

Asian stocks have now opened all down between 1-2%. Current US futures -253, fair value at -275. If all remains the same we may be looking at an open of down 400-600 points.

With that said, liquidity in after hours is low, so things could change a great deal by tomorrow's opening -- for the better or worse.

If the asian and euro markets dont recover tonight, DOW will open -485 and probably rebound to -210 after the jobs speech only to close -650.
