Dutch flags in the US.... WHY?

It was probably Gay Pride week.

My guess:
Dumb Americans see red white and blue and think "same colors"

No, but i saw alot of US/RAINBOW flags in your town...

My first guess also, but some said "OPEN" our "SALE" in the white stripe..

Other guess was, hey Dutch people own these stores, but that didn't float also..

Also we drove through Florida and saw alot of these flags at Palm nursery's and other shops.

Were they selling tulip bulbs? As a Dutch-American, I'm quite proud of my Dutch heritage and see nothing wrong with flying the Dutch flag. Nationalism is so 20th century and America was always a melting pot.

No they were selling all kind of stuff, from liqour to palmtrees ;)
