I think OP your premise is correct.

Those of the mindset that the "government" orchestrated 9-11 have never directly encountered any radical muslims and so they find it hard to believe that radical muslims exist and that they are actively working to purge the earth of its "infidels."

Well, I have personally encountered and debated radical muslims in the U.S. and the U.K. and I can tell you that even if it means their children getting killed, they'd do it GLADLY for allah. Would they plant bombs in the basement to
make sure the buildings go down? Yes--and attach them to their own kids. They are doing their god a favor by killing us and look forward to their virgins in heaven.

I agree with you about the intentions of the Muslims, I also wanted to say I have studied Islam since the mid 1990's! I have had debates with several myself and know of how their family was in complete compliance with Shariah here back then!!

It is obvious that it was allowed to happen a certain way, and to which of the integral parts of an event like this is directly attributable to the deliberate actions of a concerned interest is not to be known by people such as us.

I used to work for the federal government. The "material" you are referring to is anti-America DISINFORMATION purposely put out there to foment hatred for our government.

I have looked at the so-called "facts" that that the government supposedly was responsible for 9-11 and I'm astounded at the gullibility of those so quick to assume people like me who worked for the government conspired to kill Americans. You "insiders" are being played.

More actual knowledge of how our government actually functions would dispel a lot of the crap you all bought hook, line and sinker.

I was absolutely ready to give up on all hope with this site. Until I read your comments here. I cannot stand it when there are threads about the "real truth" about 9/11 and then they link a video from RT or Press TV. They have no idea that this is Russian and Iranian propaganda to foment hate for our own government. They buy it as you said hook line and sinker.
I believe that the only thing our government covered up was their own neglegence in failing to stop it from happening.

the explosions in the basement were because the nuclear reactors were deliberately melted down. the explosions set it off. the entire building was also wired and the planes were mostly for the purpose of creating a situation, because they could not otherwise admit the buildings were prewired for the demolition. the planes were mostly cover.

And they were not holograms, they were real but not the planes that we were told were used.

just the planes and bombs in the basement could NOT bring the buildings down they way they came down. the fall speed was too fast and the evidence remains also they were wired for demolition.

bombs in the basement and planes could not cause what happened. the pancake story if true they way it was presented, the core would have stood. I did a lot of research on how those were built and any pancaking would have been of the floors but not the core section.

Just saw an interesting conspiracy debunking show on CBC News last night (Conspiracy Theories 10yrs later). Their explanation for the explosion sounds before the collapse were some of the steel supports (I-beams I guess) crashing onto lower ones before it pancaked. The pressure wave would have reverberated throughout the structure and probably sound a lot louder at the basement. Also, they showed how what appeared to be pressure release from controlled demos was actually trapped gasses being released as the levels crushed from above..

It was quite compelling and had me convinced. They also had tons of shots I had never seen before of airplane parts from both the Pentagon and Pennsylvania. I think the way the aftermath was handled is why it is so left open for conspiracy theories. Obviously, the motives behind what happened can always be called into question.. but I think it really did happen as it appeared to happen (ie. No holograms, detonations, missiles etc.).

I'm not convinced the WTC conspiracy theories are actually conspiracies created by the Russians or the Iranians - though I'm sure they enjoy them.

The sad truth is that people believe whatever they want to believe and no amount of evidence will ever change that or them. Gods would be a good example of that.

I get the impression that “conspiracists” get a sense of self worth from believing they know something that others don't. Either that or they're just plain stupid.

Yes there are conspiracies in the world - but if your particular conspiracy requires layer upon layer of increasingly idiotic events to make it even vaguely feasible then it probably isn't true after all.

The bldgs were made to withstand the impact and the fires were not hot enough long enough to have rechrystalised the steel to lose its temper, and most all of the fuel had burnt up in the impact fireball.
The entire structure was weakened and hence the symmetrical smooth complete collapse.
And remember no plane and no significant fire or structural damage affected bldg7, which had been purpous built to survive terrorist threats, yet somehow more than one source knew it wasto fall before it did

Had you paid attention at the time, there was a notice of extensive renovations of the tower bldgs structural core and shafts which would take months, and this was printed in the papers yet after the fact, attempts to get any details of this massive and extensive renovation project which took months of after hours construction, was met with an official inability to find any record or details of such a project whatsoever, so other than cached notices of the implementation of a major renovation in the papers, and the knowledge that it had been performed, the project which was known to have taken months and was completed seems to have lost any official documentation whatsoever, this in a city where one needs documentation and permits for anything.
I know, happens all the time....
