Do you have any freakin idea what its like to lose every possesion you have? Probably not. Pictures - gone, possesions - gone, house - destroyed, cars - destroyed, anything you held dear - gone. Neighbors - gone, churchs - gone, stores - gone. No water, electricity, gas...nothing. You have no idea what its like. Whats left to look forward to? Why do I still have the will to live? Its amazing what a person can do when the going gets tough and thats what we did. Blood, sweat, tears everyday...EVERY FUCKING DAY to get your life back in order and I'm talking the basics. So yea again its easy to sit back and laugh and make idiotic comments that you think are cool and funny. I learned many many great skills while working to rebuild this city after Katrina. I'm ready when SHTF are you?? I guess we shall see who the real idiots are. Let's get a couple things straight. 1) I was calling the person who said New Orleans should be flushed down the toilet an idiot for saying that. nothing more, nothing less. 2) It is not 'tuna'. It is "fortunate one". 3)I have been ripped from two families-one biological, one adopted two times before the age of twelve for circumstances beyond my control. And lived off of chewables because we could not afford better. 4) My current family, right after adopting me for the second time had our house blown apart from a tornado. I am a fortunate one because after all I've been through, I am the luckiest person I know to have the family, wife, job, friends, self, and God in my life I have today. I feel for all. I call a spade a spade. And I respect each person for who they are. The fact that so many are ganging up on me for calling an insensitive person an idiot is confusing to me seeing that MUCH WORSE is said on a minute-by-minute basis here every day. Sorry bro, didn't mean to go off on you like that I read it the wrong way. I can understand your pain in life. I adopted a child that went through similar experiences as you but not quite as harsh. Nothing but love for you man sorry if I offended. Just tired of this NOLA toilet bowl comment. Again I say.....Apology accepted.  Now let's get the word out on this storm. Agreed...and pray that the rain hits Texas...WE NEED IT!  |
