Effects of Fake Pot (Spice, K2) and Zombies

I have been sitting here for the last several hours contemplating the K2, Spice thing going on with pot smokers who are trying to avoid the ramifications of smoking the real deal. And my head hurts thinking about this. But here is what my gut is saying and this is based on watching very lovely people I know go from casual pot smokers to Spice fans.

There is something sinister about the fake pot scene. No one can put a finger on its chemical concoctions. There are no 'long-term" studies to offer evidence of safety or non-safety. Seems like the JWH, used as the prefix for numbers of chemicals that John Huffman created when he discovered them in the 90's, is nothing more than his own initials, and the sequence of numbers are assigned accordingly to his 'discoveries". So, just what the hell IS JWH - 018 and so on? Why the mystery?

I think because, if we really knew, we wouldn't want to know. Know what I mean?

I smoked for years when I was younger, and can appreciate the fine benefits of natural God-grown weed. But you'd have to beat me into submission to allow the smoke from Spice, or K2 or Genie, or whatever they call it to get into my lungs! I smoke cigarettes and feel ok with that, but this fake pot stuff is suspicious as hell.

I watch people I know smoke it and notice alarming changes in them. It seems as though they regress, their intellect drops to less than their shoe size. Everything is as if they are back in a child-like state. Sure, that must feel all warm and fuzzy to them, but to outsiders observing, it is quite unappealing and could pose serious problems from character judgments. Simply put, you are act stupider than you think, so you better just stay home if you want to smoke the stuff. Really.

And please don't tell me that it's not addictive. (I know pot isn't for sure). When you run out of Spice, you run out the door and spend your last ten bucks to get it and hope you get home on the fumes in your gas tank.

Here is another thought you might want to 'chew' on: Zombies. We all have noticed a great pre-occupation and interest in Zombies and a potential Zombie apocalypse in the last few years, right? Even the CDC has made a satirical article on the matter! Well, think about this: Those unidentifiable chemicals in fake pot just might lead to that sort of brain condition. No one knows what the long-term effects of them are. Just like mad-cow disease; no one knew until the symptoms appeared. And then it was too late.

Spice smokers very well could be the for-runners of the Zombie Apocalypse. In essence, they'd be creating the very thing they feared. Ever hear; "What you fear, you revere"? Chew on that awhile.
