Actually that might be true, though I don't have any dogs...

My cat does this too, has done since she was a kitten 15 years ago. People are amazed when they see it, she's sat next to me now purring actually lol I think it's because if you interact with them from when they're a kitten they become your friends, they're loyal like dogs, know when you're ill, they are excellent company. You should feel lucky to have such a lovely cool cat :)

My cat is very verbal too and i think it's because if you talk to them from when they're little it's just normal for them. Obviously my cat doesn't speak actual words, but i can tell what mood she's in from her tone and she chatters to me. I Googled her breed once too and found that this particular breed of cat are known to be verbal and have attitude lol Cats are wonderful creatures.

When I shave him I give him the tiger cut, poof ball on tail and mane. Its funny when his tongue sticks out because his face is so flat.

I have four cats, and one of them acts like yours does. He's just full of love and thankful that I'm taking care of him.

Haha that sounds cool :) I'm probably going to end up a crazy cat lady living in the woods, but that would suit me just fine actually. Cats are a lot nicer to be around than some human beings

I have a huge dog who does that to me. He is always right under my feet and tries to anticipate my next move so that he can escort me everywhere. We have often collided. I get pissed but he won't stop. I fell asleep on the sofa one time, the phone rang, i jumped up in a haze to answer it, fell over my dog who was laying beneath my feet, broke my wrist, and he came to my aid by licking the exact spot of the break.

Mine has been extra needy the past week.

Love is not limited to the human species. Most cats don't behave in this manner unless they're really connected to a person.

Just kidding... My German Shepherd is glued to my side and follows me around my apartment.... The last 2 nights, he has been growling (not in a mean way) while laying on my bed because I'm not paying any attention to him while I'm on the computer... He growls or talks until I turn around, then he puts his ears back and wags his tail....

Last couple days he has definitely been extra "needy" lately, and I'm not sure if it's just my dog being himself or if he's been "acting strange" like he senses anything... Who knows...

Maybe the coming "new age" will bump animals up the food chain and they are testing us... ;)
