The power went out on a beautiful sunny day. There was NO reason for the power to go out. It was not a heat wave. There was ZERO communication in or out of our area with the rest of the world. It caused alot of concern and confusion. And we are a small town area with a sliver of freeway running through it. We are not a large metropolitan area like the area affected. half the west coast? that's an exaggeration. |

Looking in every direction I can see lights, even in parts of the downtown area, and for as far as I can see to my South and East. I am at a higher elevation and I can assure you that power has been restored to tens if not hundreds of thousands of customers already here in the San Diego area. |
