Jesus pointed to the a future race when he called them "another race."Quoting: What if 1307494
THE New Testament supports this quote very well:
"Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (From the KJV Bible, Matthew 21:43)
So fellow Christians, I ask you which group or nation present today is the mighty Jesus referring to here?
Its obviously not present day Christians...? then who?
A very good question and there is much more behind the statement than what we have learned. The scriptures states that,"The Kingdom of God is within us." There are many kingdoms and realms...many dominions and places....Is this the same kingdom that was offered to Jesus in the wilderness? He wasn't that interested in it then, was He? Now, go back to the statement: "Therefore say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken from you...What kingdom? Whose Kingdom is a better word.
The Beatitudes ( let your attitude be like this) offers things for those of a certain characteristic or attitude. The inheritance of earth is offered...kingdom of heaven is offered and no other place is mentioned. So, we are going to either gain heaven or earth as a kingdom? Take away from me this earth...take away from me a place where there is a need for gates and a wall ( to keep something in or out). Now the statement takes on a meaning where we should, come and reason together and seek exactly what Jesus was talking about.
