I've seen stills and this video. If I remember right, a GLP'er debunked this video by finding a picture of an hearing aid made from that time. It's a hearing aid people.

The box of a hearing aid of that period contained the batteries and the microphone if I remember correctly... so if she wanted to test her hearing aid she would simply talk or put the box in front of her mouth and talk. She wouldn't put the box at her ear like a cellphone and then talk. Makes little sense.
