if some of you have not seen this link [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] its a good one to get the current data during solar storms. click on the dials to get the data. this is a moderate CME according to Candace's learning over time, but the AE index seems a bit intense based on the bz's with this. While the storm itself as to protons and wind is "average' the AE seems a bit "elevated."
