only reason you would do that is that someone can't see you coming in....like someone with a shoulder fired rocket system or something similar?

...a plane trying to land puts on it's running/landing lights!

Landing lights, yes.

Running lights are required to be on continuously during flight. NO exceptions.

LA would be a pretty symbolic target.

Just a matter of perspective whether the observer saw the running lights or not.....and whether he/she is being a TROLL.

I don't think anything is happening, but Philadelphia was where both the Constitution and Declaration of Independance were signed. It was basically where the nation was born. Also about 2,000,000 people. If Al Qaeda want to hit cities, I'd put NYC, DC, LA, Chicago, Philly, Boston, Detroit, and maybe San Fran or something.

True, you would think. but there is something about philly that if taken out, can cripple the megalopolis.

The highway arteries. I-95 in philly, 295 in nj, and the NJ turnpike are the main transport arteries between north and south. They all run within 10 miles of each other here, along with major pipeline systems for gas and for liquid, AND the major rail lines north and south

Take them out and the US is badly crippled, along with loss of life and historical materials

There is also this OTHER report of two U-haul vans that have been stolen from Prince George's County, Maryland that is very near to D.C.

The stolen vans have Ariona plates/tags, but they were not stolen from AZ.

Two U-Haul vans have been stolen in Prince George's County today, and a bulletin has been issued to law enforcement agencies noting that the theft might fit as a terror warning.

Sources from two different agencies have confirmed the theft to ABC7's Kris Van Cleave.

The vans, both with Arizona tags, were stolen from the area of St Barnabas Road and Allentown Road, police say.

One of the cop sources adds, "It just feels like something is going to happen."
