Right now the UK market is down by 2.5% at approx 5100, but this is nothing compared to the low it was on a 52 week range. The lowest on 52 week range was below 4800 and still the country survived. So even if it collapses to low of 52 week range of 4800, nothing is going to happen because it has been there before and no one died. |

I expect gold to drop to near 1800 temporarily. A supply-limited commodity, instantly transferable worldwide, person-to-person, is intrinsically and uniquely valuable. |

I dont get it anymore.. Quoting: lolly I don't get it either. The usual relationships don't seem to be the norm anymore TPTB are trying to drive people to put their assets into PAPER FIAT WORTHLESS US DOLLARS -- so far it is working but later on today (in about 2 hours) GOLD will be king. Anyone who puts their money into FIAT $$ Cash "money" of the Federal Reserve is INSANE. Gold = money for 7000 years. Federal Reserve Notes = money for about 40 years and lifespan of average fiat currency is 27 years. Paper money will CRASH AND BURN. Gold will last... -- From time to time, the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Know who you are. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1499226 Germany 09/12/2011 08:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Greece is going bankrupt this week, gold is dropping because brokers know there is not enough of it to realize all that has been sold on paper, don't even think 20% of what is sold exits Quoting: Anonymous Coward 941732 That is a reason for gold to RISE, not fall. . I want all this paper to burn... then we hopefully will have a real worth of gold & silver! |

Means nothing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1540708 Totally... it's why when I read people wanting to see the system collapse it makes no sense to me. The elites control the system... this is all design and when they do decide to pull the plug it will be because it benefits them greatly. When the system collapses and time gets tough... they can then stage a couple terrorist attacks... when times get tough people will want the old ways and safety... when times get tough people will willingly give up there liberty to be safe. People are so stupid... a collapsed market only benefits the elites. |

MARTIAL LAW User ID: 1282080 United States 09/12/2011 08:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The EU is down mere to DAYS. Greece is done. It's probably 50-50 if the EU could survive JUST Greece defaulting. It certainly won't stop there. We all know Italy is next. And only the most delusional economist would tell you the EU could survive an Italy default. :martiallaw4: “The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.” Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
