Ok, so there are errors in the Bible and you've found some of them...

1 Kings 22:23
and
2 Chronicles 18:22

Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath found a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets...

Jeremiah 4:10
10 Then said I, "Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, 'Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul'."

If you're going to quote something from the Bible, at least have the decency to quote it directly! Me thinks thou hast a deceiving spirit!

This begins with "Then said I..." which indicates that it is something that Jeremiah is saying TO the Lord--not about the Lord. It is more of a question, like, "Have you deceived the people?" while knowing, of course, that the Lord would not deceive them.


Jeremiah 20:7
7 ¶ O LORD, thou hast persuaded me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. (From the Hebrew text.)


Ezekiel 14:9
9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have not deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

2 Thessalonians 2:11
For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

Delusion: a false belief or opinion; a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact: (Dictionary.com)

You've taken this verse out of its context, so it cannot be understood. Within its true context, while embedded within the verses preceding it and following it, one can see that, beginning with verse 8, God is going to release "the Wicked One", (Satan) on the people, who would delude them into believing a lie.

What IS that lie? Could it be that the MUSLIMS did 9/11 and not Israel? Could it be that "the Whitehouse had no involvement in it?" Could it be that "it doesn't really matter that Obama is NOT a U.S. citizen and cannot even prove his citizen with a VALID U.S. birth certificate--because he doesn't have one--because he WASN'T born in the U.S.?" Could it be ALL of the above--and many more lies?

The point is that you can talk to some people until your face turns blue, that engine fuel doesn't burn nearly hot enough to melt steel, and to prove it, we have that famous video clip of Edna (forgot her last name) standing on the ledge outside of the fire that is inside the office, and there's no way in hell that the human body could withstand a 3000ºF fire. Yet there are people who would still argue that it WAS burning that hot and that THAT made the building collapse. Many people have been deluded into believing the 9/11 Commission Report as Gospel Truth, regardless of how idiotic it may be.

This verse is followed by:

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
