YES, I got out of the stock market in August 2008 because of a post on GLP.

Same post said to get back into the stock market in March 2009 to ride the upswing (I didn't do that though....and should have)

Maybe not a prediction but more like an observation of something strange.

A few days before the Virginia quake someone posted that dogs in his Virginia neighborhood were disappearing. A few replies later but still a day or 2 before the quake people pointed out that this is very usual right before an earthquake.
That thread brought out a holy shit reaction from me when I read it.
Probably the closest to a real prediction that I've read here on GLP.
