I don't think she's dumb enough to say something like that about the flag, when there are tons of cameras on them and it's 9/11.

Psychology suggests whatever she was saying, she felt justified in being disgusted (face/body language) with considering it was the anniversary of the atrocity.

A.C. 1507763, I'm still waiting to see an unobstructed view of her face. With just a partial view, it's darn near impossible to put words in her mouth.

I have a congenital hearing loss. The percentage of loss caused a lisp in my speaking voice as a child.

For several years I did endure speech therapy. Every Saturday.

Not only did I learn the correct pronunciation of letters and words, I became very proficient with reading body language. That tool is very effective in many areas of life.

For example, I can easily discern if a person is lying or telling the truth. I know when someone is hiding something, and I can pretty much tell when the truth is spoken.

I'm sure, that given enough time, anyone can learn how to do the same things.

I can always get people laughing by repeating word for word what football or other sports players are saying during games, and because this ability is shared by many others, you now see players holding their gloves or hands to their faces during a game to block people from "reading" such as I do.

I would like to see a clear clip.

I think your lip reading and body language interpretation skills are being skewed by your politics in this case. Again, something disrespectful has been said. Their body language ALONE was inappropriate for the occasion.

As I explained, A.C., unless there is a clear view one cannot simply put words in her mouth. What I can tell you is that the movements I do see do no fit the words posted.
Political persuasion does not change that fact.

I can tell you, also, that in no way is the body language inconsistant with the formality of the event, and the facial expressions seen look to be one of sadness with Michelle, and that of a compassionate husband commiserating with his wife on Obama.

OK, let's say for the sake of argument that she didn't say what OP claims she said (or what it looks like she said).

So, why the look of utter disgust during the ceremony? What did Barack find so humorous? Why the eye roll(s)? What the HELL could possibly bring on an eye roll during a solemn ceremony??

I am about as anti-Obama as they come, but even I don't see it. As someone else pointed out, we cannot see her mouth clearly enough to know exactly what she said. And I don't believe she would be stupid enough to say something like this with a hundred cameras surrounding her.

So, I gotta raise my own flag to this one.
