Well...
If THEY created this name "ELENIN" back in 1998, as a hint of their future "plans", and the name "ELENIN" is a joke about ELEventh and NINth month (November and September), there is one more thing odd:
What is the arithmetic mean of 9 and 11?
9 + 11 = 20.
20 / 2 = 10.
The arithmetic mean is 10.
What was the date of the "discovery" of Comet Elenin?
December 10, 2010.
In the old Roman calendar, December is the 10th month.
In many Latin languages, the name of the month of December clearly sounds like being related to the number 10 (Example: in Portuguese, TEN is "DEZ", and December is "DEZembro"). So, December 10, 2010 sounds like 10/10/10 in those languages.
One more "joke" from THEIR part?
