Ha! Ain't that the truth. But, I must admit, I get sucked into some of those posts at times myself. I guess there is just that natural tendency to stare at a train wreck, and on some crazy level, root for them.

Yes, we all get caught up in them, reading them and researching them. But we all must also use common sense when coming to a conclusion about said conspiracy. Although most do not.

I agree 100% on that. The worst part is when people do some research and find solid factual information which contradicts someone's theory, and they get shouted out of the room.

Happens every time I tell the truth about Elenin. People are so embedded in these theories they close their eyes to any other conclusion.

In the defense of quality doom...I will say that y2k was a nothing more than doom based on computers shutting down and potentially some crazy power and infrastructure hic-ups....shitty but certainly not real doom. Were talking about thousands of years of prophecy, cosmic cataclysm and global domination all coming together in a zesty stew of death, chaos and destruction.

You don't "bounce back" from real doom.
