The Archetypal Mother is the matrix of a woman's capacity and power to conceive, birth, sustain, and renew life and give death. It is the Mother energy that initiates us into sacrifice (from the Latin, to make sacred), surrender, transformation, and transmutation. Among other things, Mother initiations call us to the healing of our own mother wounds, to look at ourselves as mothers, and to learn to let go into its own life that which we have birthed and nurtured. The Mother calls us to our bodies, to discover the joy of full embodiment, to nurture our physical life and the life of the planet. Encounter with the Dark Mother, Kali, the goddess who shreds the fabric of illusion, is the core of all initiation. Through Mother initiations, we learn to love all aspects of Life, to open to what is, as it is. The Archetypal Amazon is the feminine warrior priestess who serves Life. This energy calls us to integrity, to be in alignment with something greater than our own egoic wants and needs. The Amazon is committed and willing to meet fear, shadow, and the inner masculine, as well as the utmost vulnerability of the wounded child within us. The Amazon brings clarity, assertiveness, decisiveness, honesty, responsibility, and courageous. She empowers us to learn skillful means for negotiating life in the world, including relationships, and being utterly faithful to ourselves. Amazon initiations teach us not to abandon ourselves.

The Archetypal Lover is the High Priestess of Eros, the feminine principle of relatedness. The Lover seeks relationships, union, and communion everywhere and with everything. When our Lover is invoked, our emotions, creativity, playfulness, sensuality, sexuality, relationship to self, body, other people, nature and the divine are the playground for exploration, healing, and discovery. She tends the garden of earthly delights. Beauty is her vocation, serving the Divine Beloved is her devotion. Lover initiations challenge us to confront the illusions that keep our hearts closed. We are given many opportunities to love freely and passionately, to be compassionate, especially with ourselves, and to live in the present moment. Lover initiations encourage embodiment and the healing of a wounded self image. The inner Lover can help a woman to transmute shame about her body to delight, as well as heal the wounds of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.

The Archetypal Medial archetype awakens our desirefor wisdom, knowledge, and the unknown, and fans the fires of search for all kinds of knowledge, from the practical to the most esoteric and mystical. Medialinitiations usually take us into our fear ofthe unknown, where we must deal with ego's need for control and the fear of surrender. We come to realize that our fear of the unknown is really a fear of our thoughts about the unknown. The Medial energy invites us to descend deep into the depths of our own unconscious as well as to explore other dimensions of reality. These initiations dissolve our ideas about what we think we know, and who we think we are. Medial initiations call us to address issues of healership, right use of spiritual powers, legitimacy, internal spiritual authority, and visibility in the world as a Medial Woman. This work opens us to our place in the world as a healer, and awakens us as priestesses and ritual makers.


The Queen archetype is the axis mundi, the archetypal center which Jung called ‘Self’, toward which our heroine’s journey is constantly spiraling. She embodies our full potential as human women whose essential nature is pure awareness, alive and awake in our own human woman body. Each initiation in all of the four other archetypal domains brings a woman greater awareness and embodiment of this Queen within who is awake, loving, compassionate, and increasingly free of her human conditioning, even as Life continues to bring to her door its imperfections, incompletions, and impermanence. Most of them just popped up and I had never met before this thread. There are a lot more Gnostics around the jute joint of glp that I had realized.

Gnosticism feels like home to me. As it is for all of us. It is our home for remembrance of that which we already know.

So glad you checked back in there. Seems to be clearing up some over there.

On to learning from each other. That inner knowing is where it starts. That at core is what gnostic means anyway. We all have an innate inner knowing. Some just tap it then it is often hard to know what to do with it.

As far as communicating it. Learning curve and fine art form. One that I surely do not have down. It has taken years to find words for it to this point. Many try and try agains.

More important at this juncture finding the audience that also shares the sense of inner knowing is more important. Many struggle to find the words to couple facts with intuition.

Which is part of the goal in my opinion. Reconnecting ourselves and synching to the cosmos connection. For example the gut has its own nervous system. It is as large as the brains. Hence where the term “gut instinct” came from.

I am over here if anyone wants to talk Gnosticism and share themselves comfortably as such.

There is no need to ascend or ascend anything to know truth. It is within everyone and all that has to be done is to let go of concepts that block the truth. It is the holding to ideas that keeps one blind to truth. That is why meditation is so valuable. It forces one to self inquire which leads to a natural self cleansing process. All must dissolve before truth can be re-known. It takes the clouds (concepts) and moves them or dissolves them away so that the sun (truth) can shine like it always has. Truth is always here. It has never left you. You have just forgotten it by your clinging to ideas. It is your ideas that keep you from it. Meditation is the way out. It allows space around thoughts so the light can penetrate and dissolve them.

Yes this is true what you said,

Thats what descending means...a letting go, surrendering to what holds you back from knowing truth from the One True source.


When you get to that point in your life, where you can see that you are lost without the GOD you are within, one day it all dawns on you, a heck with it all feeling inside, and you just get to the point where you let it all go, a release of it all...and stand on the edge and freefall off the cliff to a symbolic death. A Leap of faith. I stood on top of this mountain in a dream with GOD, and told him to push me off, I was giving it all up, and surrendering it all for HIM alone. I wanted to be taught Wisdom through only His Way, not my way.

When you hit rock bottom, you wake up and it is as if you are spiritually resurrected back to life. You can now begin and start off with a fresh clean slate, and make a fresh start, learning everything coming from divine source till you reach Divine and renewed openings and manifestations through Wisdom and the Counsels of GOD alone.

Now you begin your climb out of the pit of dispair, and begin your walk with your GOD. It is then, you will see and know your divine self, and God annoints you, as you work your way back up to the light. You go through a fire baptisim which is a symbolic burning off of all the dross left you may have, a refiner and cleansing.

As you climb back up, you go through many changes, this is the annointing you need to keep close to, because you are now guided by the divine inteligencer or helper, which guides and opens your mind up for eternal Wisdom to enter.

Wisdom can only enter into a body that has reached a theshold of spiritual cleansing, and made ready. You cannot be all stained and not prepared. This must be your goal constantly. You must bring forth your fruit to ripeness, and full maturity.

When widom enters, You will then begin to see things so clearly, (as in a clear glass) which for me, I say it means the opening of the third eye, because this is how it happened for me.

You become close to GOD, and you become intimate with your creator. He then enters into your temple and makes His house within you, because you have now cleansed the inside as well as the outside , and made yourself ready for HIM. This is likened to a LOVE cosmic orgasm, where He enters into your most Holy, and becomes one like marriage, bonded, eternal.

It was important for me to relay the concept of ascending and descending with the chakras as it implied ‘inherent’ and ‘innate’ flow within.

And at this point in a thread of this nature for people that have some gnosis under their belt, some reading and practice of gnosis to interpret then communicate the text, there really is no need to debate ‘external’ or duality. Intent is to practice. As noted above within is gnosis. Starting with the tangible of the body just seems easier to communicate a deeper understanding of within as a whole. I seek not ‘astral’ to get out of self. I seek to remind me that it is within as well. Carry on.

Thank you, TheOracle, for reminding me to print that poem out to read it on a daily basis. To touch the paper. The text. To imprint the finger tips of energy onto the living page. Perhaps I will even write it out in my own horrid penmanship. Horrid in that it is oft unreadable. Better to memorize then and imprint within...lol That poem seems of theme that resonates with so many of us.

Yes, resonates with all who read it.

It is the basis of everthing....the one. It reminds us of who we are; imperfect - yet perfect, demon and saint, good and evil, hate and love - the list is endless. The words show us the origin of humanity and who we are. It is meant to help us accept one another in love, while we hate that which keeps us from accepting. It is the double edged sword.

Now if only all of humanity could see that so we can connect fully with the Pistis Sophia and learn to govern ourselves accordingly, so that we can learn to discern and judge and then find out that in the end, there is no judgement. How can there be?

The Sophia is what binds us all together as one. She is the word, the mind of God, within all of us.

In one of my threads I also equated her with the ‘Holy Spirit’. Can’t remember which one but I do recall it generated discussion with others that are exploring viewing 'Faith in Wisdom’ the same way. Or what I am coming to explore as ‘remembrance of our inherent light’ preprogrammed into us by what is called ‘forethought’ in the Origins of the World text. These discussions can also be found in my current thread that I linked to above. We play a lot in that thread too. Sometimes more than not. But you will find some of the same posters here over there.
