I thought it would be nice with school starting to put some recipes on here that are either easy to do, quick, one pot, etc.
Post things you like to make and your family likes to eat. Maybe we can get something new and different than the same old stuff.

Put the name of the recipe, difficulty, total time and prep time in your recipes. Also how many it serves.

Plus or minus next to recipe represents someone who tried it and did or did not like it. I will add them as posts come in.

Top Ramen.

Boil 2 cups of water.
Open package of noodles, put into boiling water. Let cook for 4 min.
Open sesoning packat, and pour into water with noodles.
Stir to mix
Serve hot.

Servings per package 2 (not really, but thats' what it says)

It's cheaper then Mac N' Cheese, when you're on a budget.

Cowboy pork chops:

Layer onions, sliced about 3/4 inch thick.

Potatoes, sliced about 3/4 inch thick.

Top off with pork chops.

Add some chicken or beef broth, about a cup.

Top the whole thing with a good layer of BBQ sauce.

Bake on 400 for about an hour!

People that don't usually like BBQ sauce can't believe this tastes so good. You can also add some peppers if you like.

It's in there now, how did you know? I put the rabbit in there with three cans of chicken broth, yellow squash, zucchini, onion, celery, carrots, seasonings, and some water. let that cook on high for however long 3-4 hrs and then I add the whole pack of red beans/rice mix to the stew and add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Let it cook, thicken up and there ya go.

while i was pregnant, i ate red beans and rice everyday. i love anything, within reason, with red beans and rice.
