it's so awesome to see how people are so giving when someone is need, me myself would never send my kids here to ask for money if i were sick, and i've been in the hospital a few times NEVER depended on the kindness of strangers, i guess i feel icky thinking of being a charity case.

I think it was a little overwhelming for her daughter Erika (given all that was going on), and she was scrambling for awhile to get a PayPal donation center set up. I don't think that NIN is "depending on the kindness of strangers", but if she had to I can't think of a better bunch of "strangers" than the GLP community!
