Liberals are in a perpetual childhood entitlement state, where they wont let go of the desire for security being provided for them just because they exist. All children start out as communists, receiving all and giving nothing but their needs, and providing naught but demands. As they progress in knowledge and skills (if?), they become more socialist, where whats theirs is theirs but they still demand or expect or seek support to even things out to meet their desires, and only after becoming self sufficient can they possibley become conservatives where all they ask is to keep what they have earned. Liberals are those that want to keep theirs but help themselves to some of yours until they think any deficit is equaled out

Notice that at no time do liberals expect to actually individually give up anything that they have earned by their own efforts without pushing you in front of them, hoping to duck their own responsibility in some way.
Just like the guy that wants to know why redistribution is so bad, at no time does he offer to give a single damm thing up, expecting only to receive 'gifts' from strangers he assumes are better off than he, he being the one to decide the toll, and at no time does equality mean anything more than money and 'stuff', equality of time spent working or loss of recreation time relative to creation time or demands of responsibility or time invested in a discipline is not ever considered,
