In purport:

The brahmajyoti is also described in Brahma-samhita, where it is
said that the brahmajyoti is the rays emanating from that supreme
spiritual planet, Goloka Vrndavana, just as the sun's rays emanate from
the sun globe. Until one surpasses the glare of the brahmajyoti, he
cannot receive information of the land of the Lord. Being blinded by the
dazzling brahmajyoti, the impersonalist philosopher can neither realize
the factual abode of the Lord nor His transcendental form. Limited by
their poor fund of knowledge, such impersonalist thinkers cannot
understand the all-blissful transcendental form of Lord Krsna. In this
prayer, therefore, Sri Isopanisad petitions the Lord to remove the
effulgent rays of the brahmajyoti so that the pure devotee can see His
all-blissful transcendental form.

Focus on the Source, not on the emanations.

Yes, this is the case.

The emanation is actually there to blind one from seeing the supreme without surrender first. It serves as a veil, and a barrier for impersonalists.


The Brahma-jyoti is actually the attainment of Mayavadi impersonalists who believe that the Brahma-jyoti is the ultimate attainment.

But we have practical knowledge from self realized souls who have passed on their perfect knowledge, that the Brahma-jyoti is actually the impersonal effulegence.


Recently, by the grace of the Lord, I have had the veil removed and have been able to render increasing devotional service to purify myself of material desires.

That is why I spend time that is not being absorbed in increasing my spiritual knowledge at GLP trying to render any tiny bit of devotional service to any lucky soul who is fortunate enough to come to the level of the impersonal brahman.

Yes, I have been going back and forth between the two. Amazed at what I 'see'. Or how I understand it. I completely understand what is meant by the Source being everything. How it is beyond us...before us...and IS us. And to imagine this Source being 'conscious' is indescribable. To try and imagine something 'conscious', that not only makes up the material, but US as well, is just...is just absolutely beautiful beyond description.

It makes me wonder where in the process of my growth I am at. Where to go from here, in as far as what this 'conscious' Source that is me, yet is also so, so much more, has in store for me.

And, I wonder how many others can see this so completely. To be able to somehow share it...would be an awesome feat.

The growth actually never stops.

Spiritual growth is like a ramping up, a continuous experience of increasing bliss (Sat) , knowledge (Chit), and eventually eternity (Ananda).

Right now you already experience eternity, but it is divided into past, present and future.

You will continue to grow and grow. The Spiritual World is compared to a tree that produces ever newer fruits and leaves, never the same but still a tree.

You will eventually reach the understanding of your constitutional position, your original position as a living soul, and what that position entails.

Yes, I already know those concepts...

Recently I've been more and more focused on the difference between conceptualizing and realizing.

Every day I read something and absorb it, but often times it isn't until much later that it becomes "Real" or "Real-ized".

The process of realization is actually speeding up.

Another important thing to understand is that the Absolute Supreme Consciousness has everything that we have, but in greater amounts.

Any quality that we possess, has to be possessed in the greatest quantities by the SOURCE of the qualities.

Me and you possess a limited amount of independence, but the Supreme Absolute Source of Consciousness has independence in unlimited amounts.

Me and you possess a limited amount of knowledge, but the Supreme Absolute Source of Consciousness has knowledge in unlimited amounts.

We also possess personality. The Supreme Absolute has Unlimited personality.

If we possessed personality and the source did not, then we would be Supreme over the source.

As I have experienced Them, Mother/Father god as One Being differentiating for the purposes of creation.

This is an explanation of the world: everything that takes place is due to the combination of kshetra and kshetra-jna, the body and the spirit soul. This combination of material nature and the living entity is made possible by the Supreme Consciousness Himself. The mahat-tattva is the total cause of the total cosmic manifestation; and that total substance of the material cause, in which there are three modes of nature, is sometimes called Brahman. The Supreme Personality impregnates that total substance, and thus innumerable universes become possible. The scorpion lays its eggs in piles of rice, and sometimes it is said that the scorpion is born out of rice. But the rice is not the cause of the scorpion. Actually, the eggs were laid by the mother. Similarly, material nature is not the cause of the birth of the living entities. The seed is given by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and they only seem to come out as products of material nature. Thus every living entity, according to his past activities, has a different body, created by this material nature, so that the entity can enjoy or suffer according to his past deeds. The Lord is the cause of all the manifestations of living entities in this material world.


This is Truth, passed down from person to person in an unbroken chain from those who are self realized or who have heard from a perfected soul.
