Anyone else suffering from depression and wish the world would end?

Everyone asks this if they were raised without God in the state schools.

Yes I would love this wicked world would end and that is normal.

Depression can be an excellent state of mind ... if it causes you to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and get saved. Depression might alert you to your hopeless condition without Christ, lost and headed for eternity in devil's hell.

Unfortunately, many depressed people just turn to the bottle or blow their brains out or, worst of all, find some way to "cheer up" and muddle on in life without ever getting saved. Being depressed isn't really unhealthy, it's being without Christ that is unhealthy to your soul.

So, can you tell me why I was born and what is my purpose on this planet?

isn't kind of messed up that everyone that agrees with this topic is inadvertently wishing suffering/pain/death to the huge majority of people who don't agree with this topic?

wouldn't it just be kinder, even more humanitarian to just take out some large insurance policy with the benificiary being a very needy family and orchestrate the end of the world but in a very localized manner?

Yes. I was suicidal from the age of nine till new years day 2010. So that was roughly 21 years. I was clinically dead for five minutes after one attempt.
I understand OP. We all have our reasons, which when you strip them down are all the same.
Hang in there and find your light, your truth, not the bullshit one society or anyone caught in society's webb of illusion and disillusionmenthad programmed into you and force fed to you, your parents and so on and so forth.
It's easy to forget when your caught in depression that it will pass, but all things do come to pass. Everything comes in time and so will the clarity and faith in your lifes's purpose.
I found mine and I have several purposes, some which have yet to be revealed to me, as I said everything comes in it's time. It's the journey love, not the destination. Open yoursrelf upto the clues and serendipity will weave them together for you, all you have to do is follow with a bit of faith.

Depresion is feeling that the truth is out there but you have no way of knowing what it is. Im serious guys I was the same way for a while, but I found a way to beat it. Depression is just one of many negitive energies, the dark side if you will. I can tell you how to beat that mofo

I don't see how posting scripture will help this person or anyone else. First you have to understand that no one can be led to the true path. They have to walk through the labyrinth of life and find the answer for themselves. We can give "hints", but no one can find it for them.

Oh for God's sake. I know you think your trying to help. But it is our responsability to find our own light, our own god centre inside ourselves, whatever it may be, or identify with as an expression of it. It's not necessarily the fucking bible or Jesus, there is more out there than some over played book that has been manipulated and twisted around by evil men.

Please try and listen to me for a second. You will not be able to find what you are searching for here. You may get information that "rings true" for you, but in the end you have to begin to search for the truth that is right for you.

Try to stop your mind for a few minutes and listen to your heart. You know what I'm talking about. Not your mind/ego/fear, but what is deep within you. No one can do this for you. This is a lonely and private journey.

Once you begin to search for the truth within your heart, you will begin to find it. Life is so much more amazing than you realize. You won't find the real truth from a master, guru, teacher or priest. You must find it yourself

Remember the truly powerful spiritual being you REALLY are. Then go find the truth.

after I had my car accident and my whole life was flushed down the toilet. I mean everything I worked for just gone in an instant I was devastated.

took me ages to get over it and I was suicidal during this process but I figured it out one night. I had this churning internal spiral of emotions going on and I drank a bottle of champagne and with every gulp took a valium. stupid me. I survived that and I realised that I didn't want the world to end, I wanted my life to change. I wanted the feelings to stop.

I am better now. It has taken a long time.

get a journal going and write in it as much as you can. It is good to get your thoughts out.

take care
