You should look at the Time Before Time Paradox:

"Time must occur for anything to happen, so then, how did Time itself happen?"

Answer: Time has always been and will always be, thus, Time is Infinite in both directions of the Now, constantly moving forward in increments of finite.

That is the only possibility and once you realize that, you should relook at your thoughts/theories/ideas.

The infinity bit I get, but what if the finite increments were cyclic or perhaps spiral?

I have a problem with the spiral concept though because I do believe the material drama that we all incarnate into (except Source) is one that repeats exactly. An example of this would be to take a perfect, clear and clean diamond and place it in the light and take note of how the light shines and reflects through it. Take another perfect diamond and notice how that would cast light in a unique way, not quite the same as the first one and so on. Creator being the most perfect of diamonds remaining eternally pure and constant in order to act as the external force, who intervenes each time we descend into forgetfulness and deepest chaos.

If we consider ourselves to be spiritual diamonds that have been covered in dust and grime for some time and had not been reflecting light; once the muck was cleaned and polished away, would the diamonds not reflect the light in the same way as they had originally?

Another words, once we are spiritually restored to our original purity by connection to Creator/Supreme Jeweller:) wouldn't we reflect this pure light in the same way? And when we return restored into our future incarnations wouldn't we make exactly the same choices as we had before.

Prophecy, clairvoyance and deja vu also fit well with this concept, time travel too. Tracing all the world's religions and indigenous cultures to their most authentic sources finds that they all speak of similar patterns in time - a time of paradise on earth, peace and prosperity, a fall, a search, a time of darkness and destruction/revelation and a time of renewal.

To me it makes sense that this is a great confluence, both the end of one cycle and simultaneously the beginning of another identical one. It seems a cop out to proclaim that Creator is also part of this impure material world and part of our own vice and body conscious choices, if he is eternally pure then he cannot engage in the laws of cause and effect or entropy.

There has to be personal accountability as well as collective and there has to be self-responsibility to realise the journey and with good intention return to our own source, thereby also reconnecting with Creator and our spiritual family. In this physical world, it is important to know what is 'my' stuff and what is someone else's, mingling the responsibility of 'my' stuff with another's does not work. Another paradox is that in taking self-responsibility, connection to Source and the human family continues increasing - I can understand how this connection is mistaken for omnipresence, at least those are my thoughts and experiences.

Our fall was to lose sight of our true form and to fall into body consciousness and identify with it and the material universe completely, now we have to re-connect to our spiritual universe and continue on till the end of the play before all the actors can take a bow.
