134 6.0 - 6.9 earthquakes per year.


So you're marginally incorrect, except this was a 6.6, and there are only about 70-80 per year of 6.6-6.9.

Moreover, September has been a big month in a big year.

We have already exceeded the yearly average by early September for all these measurable categories. 5.0-5.9, 6.0-6.9, 7.0-7.9. we have met the yearly average for 8.0-10.

Had USGS kept measuring past 2008 all earthquakes in 2011 the 3.0-3.9 and 4.0-4.9, would have blown those numbers away already too. They quit documenting these unless people call in or they 'feel' like documenting them.

In sum, there has been a significant uptick in 2010-2011 and many fell in line with elenin alignments for whatever reason...manmade or natural or coincidental. September is increasing in earthquakes, solar flares, CMEs and if I remember correctly volcanoes like no other month this year. This is in line with theorists, but will have to wait til the end of September to exclude certain causes, if they demonstrate no correlation on Sept. 21st-22nd and 26th-28th.

i said once per day or once per week dependent on the strenght of the quake. the year has 52 weeks right ? your saying 70-80 of 6.6-6.9. so i wasnt incorrect. all that hype about a small object called Elenin is amusing. If anything is increasing the EQ frequency and their intensity then its the sun activity and not a small rock passing the inner solar system.
