Hey Lucas was a sheer utter fucking genius with the first 3 star wars movie. Don't know what the hell happened with the rest.

The corruption started by having kids which changed his outlook on life (hence the ewoks and starting to cater to kids), his divorce that he doesn't seem to have gotten over, then the CG in jurassic park gave him the idea to add stuff into the originals, then ESB's director told him to keep making more and then he finally caved in around 1996 when he started work on episode I

For a long time, he wanted to put starwars behind him and do his own thing, then he caved, he fell to the darkside
The young independent filmmaker became the very thing he rebelled against, a giant corporate monster

And maybe the backlash to episode I and the prequels drove him to hate his fans and find every way possible to ruin the originals

Ok first of all, I friggin loved the Ewoks when I was kid, the only thing that made Jedi a success IMHO, also have you noticed the BS Hollywood has out out lately 100-300 million on remakes of comic book junk? I think has done pretty well in the midst of it all. Remember the 80's when the only thing cool left was the Grateful Dead or am I missing something here, please elaborate!
