Last I checked, you're supposed to fear God.

We are not supposed to live in fear of the events that will soon take place on the earth. fearing God means fear of hurting Him,or causing Him to feel sad..just like when a child causes the parents sadness and dissapointment when they get into trouble, or is disobedient. God feels pain for we are His children, and we should fear displeasing Him since He is our life giver.
