Quoting: Anonymous Coward 844082 Are they going to ban car racing too? Well NASCAR has a lot more money than the Reno Air Races, it probably pays victims of accidents on its own dime to prevent claims on insurance getting out of hand in relation to premiums. Accidents have been the downfall of quite a few smaller tracks throughout history. "Everybody lies." |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1552640 Any air show I've ever been to, you just buy the ticket and that's it. I don't remember any signs that said "death and dismemberment at own risk". These events carry insurance. It's pretty much a requirement of the jurisdictions they are held within. Oh, I should add that at car races at small tracks if you enter the pits you usually sign a waiver and have to be of legal age. Last Edited by G. House on 09/17/2011 04:20 PM "Everybody lies." |
